Can you put a valve on top of a pipe (not splitting the pipe) and then it closes the section? And then anything enclosed to these multiple valves will be isolated? This is going to be useful for modelling of isolation scenarios

There is no need for an isolation/dummy valve to close a pipe in InfoWater Pro. You can use Initial Status = Closed or a Control Statement to set the pipe to closed which achieves the same thing as an isolation valve with no need to split the pipe.
